"Roi is one of those people that is going to change the way you look at life and yourself. He's funny, grounded and sees the good in you and is able to let it come out with ease and, mostly, without telling it to you. His wish to lead people to "wholeheartedly" tell stories becomes a reality by the way he tells stories and by the way he is during the time spent together."

Chiara , (York storytelling workshop participant, 2019)

"I loved being around people from so many different backgrounds and countries.

Deep immersion into deep stories.Yeah! I feel like my brain is different!"

'Outstanding level of teaching! Roi has extraordinary listening skills,

the safe holding skills of a brain surgeon and creative energy enough to light up a football pitch. He and both courses of his that I have been on have been exceptional'

James Benn, UK

“Roi's courses have been invaluable in helping me believe in myself as a storyteller. He carries the magic and soul of traditional storytelling and combines this with understanding and passion for the role of story as a vehicle for healing and positive change in our world."

"Roi is an exceptional storyteller and teacher -- his humanity, insight, compassion and how he honours people is both rare and precious.

The four weekends provided a perfect balance of tuition, discussion, practise and coaching through which I saw my own storytelling skills and those of my fellow students come on in leaps and bounds."
